New collections for CAN Collections Database

The CAN Collections Database already contains collection records from over 80 CAN Partners. We are now scheduling the upload of new collections to the CAN Collections Database.

If you have collection records which can be exported into Excel or are using Tabularium for archival records management, and would like them included in the CAN Collections Database, please let us know by filling out the registration form.

If you have a collection database which is already online with its own search, we may be able to include your collection through Opensearch.

Facilities

CAN provides online public search access, professional development resources and links to the Australian collections sector. This includes: hosted web pages for all CAN Partners, a searchable collections record database, promotional opportunities, sector specific resources, networking and communication tools, and email discussion lists. All of these are available on the CAN website, through the navigation menu on the left hand side of this page.

CAN's service are available online, free of charge to both Partners and public. CAN Partners are not-for profit, publicly accessible collections.
