ABC Collectors and Collectish Partnership

ABC Collectors and Collectish Partnership in 2011

The ABC Collectors program and the Museum Victoria online initiative Collectish will form a partnership in 2011.

Collectish is entering into partnership with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2011 to integrate Collectish (its free online website currently used by private individuals to put their collections online) with the website for ABC TV’s popular Collectors show. According to Collectish this will make it easier for Collectors fans to manage and show off their collections on both sites.

CAN provides online public search access, professional development resources and links to the Australian collections sector. This includes: hosted web pages for all CAN Partners, a searchable collections record database, promotional opportunities, sector specific resources, networking and communication tools, and email discussion lists. All of these are available on the CAN website, through the navigation menu on the left hand side of this page.

CAN's service are available online, free of charge to both Partners and public. CAN Partners are not-for profit, publicly accessible collections.
