Visitors in the Museum
The National Museum of Australian Pottery is running a Seminar on collecting Australian pottery on Saturday the 18th October 2008.
The Holbrook Lions Club Inc. is running their 11th Antique Collectors Fair on Saturday the 18th October 2008, at the Shire Hall, where Australian pottery will be on sale. The Fair opens at 8.00am.
To coincide with this Fair the National Museum of Australian Pottery (opposite the Hall) is running a Seminar on collecting Australian pottery commencing at 3.00pm, at a cost of $10 per head which includes entry to the Museum, home made afternoon tea, the seminar presentation and a floor talk through the collection.
Itinerary:
3.00 to 3.30 home made afternoon tea.
3.30 to 5.00 seminar presentation.
5.00 to 6.00 floor talk through the Museum’s collection.
Bring along a maximum of 5 Australian pottery pieces for identification and discussion and learn how to identify, clean, value and look after your collection.
