Jewish Holocaust Museum and Research Centre

The Jewish Holocaust Museum and Research Centre is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and is also an educational facility dedicated to teaching lessons of tolerance.

It was created by Holocaust survivors in 1984 and survivors continue to guide visitors through the museum. The Centre houses a library, archive, photographic and oral history collection. Over 1000 video testimonials of survivors and other eye-witnesses have been recorded here.

Over 250,000 school students have visited the Centre since it opened its doors. They have had the unique opportunity to speak to survivors, the living witnesses of the Holocaust atrocities.
