Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation Art Program
The Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation (SCHF) Art Program motto is "Art Celebrating Life", and uses the power and potency of visual art - in all its forms - to improve the Hospital environment and the experiences of the Hospital's patients, their families, staff and the wider community.
The Art Program manages a permanent collection, art therapy workshops, art prizes and a dynamic rotating exhibition program in the Hospital's Artspaces 0 and 1.
The Art Program currently has exciting partnerships with the Friends of the National Art School, Sculpture by the Sea and other cultural organisations in delivering exhibitions, and developing the permanent collection.
Collections
The Art Program manages a constantly expanding collection featuring works by Del Kathryn Barton, Tom Bass, Liz Cuming, Immants Tillers, Shaun Tan, Melinda Ransom, Rodney Forbes, Geoffrey Ricardo, Robert Dickerson, Margaret Woodward and Arthur Boyd.
