Tatters Guild of Australia, NSW Branch Inc
Tatting is a type of lacemaking which developed from Knotting in the early 19th century. The Tatters Guild of Australia, NSW Branch Inc has been teaching and collecting tatted lace for 15 years.
About 60 pieces of lace; the oldest being a tatted cuff from the mid to late 19th century. Our pieces are donated from members and all are used for technique learning. Most are from Australia.
