City of Joondalup Art Collection

The visual arts play an important role at the City of Joondalup. The City runs two exhibitions annually: the Community Art Exhibition and the Invitation Art Award.

The City of Joondalup’s Art Collection consists of around 200 works in a variety of mediums including painting, works on paper, photography, sculpture and textiles.

The majority of the Collection is permanently on display around the City of Joondalup Civic Chambers, Administration Building, libraries and leisure centres.

The Art Collection has two main objectives:

- To support contemporary Western Australian art and artists; and

- To provide Joondalup citizens with access to high quality, contemporary visual art, free of charge.

For more information please contact the City’s Curator on 9400 4951.

Tours of the Collection are available on request.
