Nursing Museum & Historical Photographs Collection, Charles Darwin University
Charles Darwin University's Nursing Museum and Historical Photographs Collection stared in 1987 and reflects the evolution of health care in the Northern Territory and the the aim is to preserve and promote a moveable cultural heritage. Photographs, artefacts, instruments, memorabilia and ephemera are collected and displayed.
The Nursing Museum is interested in artefacts and memorabilia which relate to nurses and nursing, particularly of those who have served in the Territory. Also relevant are items which pertain to local health and nursing services and equipment used by nurses. m
