Chrissie Cotter Gallery
Marrickville is rich in artistic and cultural capital. Our area contains one of the highest percentages of artists, cultural workers and arts industries of any local government area in Australia. In addition, Marrickville is considered by many to be the birthplace of multiculturalism in Australia and the artistic traditions from countries such as Vietnam, Greece, China, Lebanon and Portugal, among others, form part of the tapestry of the artistic and cultural life of Marrickville.
The Chrissie Cotter Gallery is located in Pidcock Street Camperdown, next to the Camperdown Bowling Club. Since 1996, Marrickville Council has provided the gallery to individuals and organisations for exhibitions and cultural events.
