Lyndhurst Resource Centre

The Conservation Resource Centre was established to record the history of houses, furnishings and gardens of New South Wales. It provides information, original source material and specialist services relating to domestic design history and building conservation.

The reference collection contains artefacts from New South Wales houses including wallpapers, soft furnishings, trimmings, floor coverings, fittings, photographs, furniture, and garden ornaments. The reference collection continues to seek such objects, whether in pristine or fragmentary form, from houses, manufacturers and retailers in New South Wales and welcomes donations.
