Jessica Coates, Project Manager, Creative Commons Australia and the Creative Commons Clinic, Queensland University of Technology
Jessica examines the legal mechanisms that encourage innovation in the creative industries, and promote and track the implementation of the international open content
licensing movement, Creative Commons, in Australia. Prior to working for the Clinic, Jessica spent most of the last decade as a copyright and communications policy
officer with the Commonwealth Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts (DCITA).
